Compaq Presario SR2002X Desktop PC Device manager says problem with pci device and pci simple communications controller. I can't get on line and have searched compaq website for a solution. I put a pci modem in the computer and the computer is calling it a 'simple pci communication controller'. I have a driver for the modem but when updating the driver for the 'simple pci communication controller, it doesn't recognize it as valid.
